Walking off the mince pies

Did you have your fill of mince pies over Christmas? And do you feel over- stuffed with family too? How about a walk in the Oxfordshire countryside to blow the intensity, food and cobwebs away?
Walking is a wonderful way not only to shrug off the extra food but to give you some space and recharge the spirit.
If you're in Oxfordshire or the Cotswolds, here are some great places to have some fresh air...
The White Horse Hill at Uffington, near Faringdon is the place to go to get some perspective on life as you stand on top of the hill, seeing for miles and miles into the distance. Most days you'll be able to watch people flying kites too.
Minster Lovell Hall, near Burford is steeped in history and a set along the beautiful Windrush Valley. And the Hall is said to be haunted too.
Even if you don't fancy paying to look round Blenheim Palace in Woodstock then it's set in a beautiful Park, just perfect for a walk. I trained for the London Moonwalk around the 5 mile circuit but you can do a more leisurely stroll.
There's something very calming about walking by canals and if you enjoy walking by the water then the Canal at Gibraltar Rock near Kirtlington, not far from Oxford, is gorgeous.
And just a few minutes walk from Faringdon, near Witney, is the Faringdon Folly Tower from where you can see for miles around.
I'd love to hear where you go for walks around Oxfordshire or other ways that you find to chill out and give yourself some space and perspective. Do get in touch, even if you don't need any hypnotherapy just yet, I'd be delighted to hear from you.
