A few comments from my clients...
A lady came to me with a phobia about needles which was really affecting her life. One of her main concerns was that her fear would get in the way of her wish to have a baby and then spoil her enjoyment of being pregnant. So we worked on rewinding and getting rid of traumatic memories and building positive feelings for the future.
Delightfully, she is now expecting her baby and very relaxed about needles and blood tests...
"I’m really well and absolutely loving being pregnant. We've just got back from the hospital and found out today that we’re going to have a son. We’re so happy. Just desperately trying to agree on a name now!
I have another blood test lined up for July, but still feeling very positive about it and not bothered at all really. What a miracle! I can’t thank you enough for your help."
This is from a man who had lost confidence in his high-pressured job, which was also severely affecting his private life...
"Thank you so much for everything you've done for me over the past few weeks-it's unbelievable how far I've come in so little time. I do have a genuine sense that I am giving off much more positive vibes to those I encounter, and as a result this has begun to change the way I carry myself which seems to have attracted better responses from people. I'm in a position where I can look forward to taking the next big steps at work while feeling secure that I am making the right choices. It was an absolute pleasure meeting you."
This testimonial is from a lady who had eaten chocolate every day for 50 years and for serious health reasons needed to be free from her addiction.
I can't thank Pippa enough for the difference she has made to my life. I have been weighed down literally with eating habits that have built up over a life time. It took a very serious illness to realise I had to break these habits as it was no longer about the way I looked but about my future health. Pippa installed in me that I could do it and in three sessions she built up my self belief and confidence to a point where I know I can go forward. It was like throwing off a very heavy incumbersome overcoat. If it can work for me it can certainly work for you!! Chocolate, who needs Chocolate?!
From a parent of a child I worked with...
"I heartily recommend Pippa. Her intervention has positively transformed my daughter's life and mine. After 4yrs of unsuccessful intervention by other therapists and being on the verge of a nervous breakdown I made contact with Pippa and was amazed by her success - Thank you from both of us."
From a man who needed help motivating himself again in different areas of his life as he had been feeling very low and felt he had lost his way...
"Hi Pip
I can't tell you what a difference I've been feeling since Saturday!
Breaking everything down into easily achievable chunks has been such a morale booster and my wife is amazed by my progress so far...
Goal-wise, I've concentrated on me this week (health and happiness, rather than the website) - but I aim to concentrate on that next week once I've established the 'healthy, happy me' routine
I've walked down to the river every day this week (actually walked to the next village along the riverbank today!), have power walked with A twice (finding it a bit tricky with the pram - a bit wobbly and A wants to bail out every 200 yards - but am persevering!) and at least taken her for a gentle walk on all the other nights.
According to my shiny new pedometer, I'm consistenly doing over 5000 steps a day (not the recommended 10k, but a step in the right direction).
Protein for breakfast every day so far, plus nuts, no chocolate and plenty of water/skimmed milk
Wellman vitamin and St Johns Wort with every evening meal and about half an hour of handweights for the last 2 nights and counting.
Canvasses arrived at work this morning.
Brush cleaning kit on order (to go with the set of brushes I eventually won!!) And the sun's shining!!!
Thank you so much for helping me - in the most unpatronising way possible, I'm hugely impressed by the way you conduct the sessions, your ability to be attentive when necessary and assertive where it counts, and your obvious passion for understanding of the area as a whole. I reckon you've found your calling."
From a lady whose whole life was being terrorised by her fear of spiders...
"Good news! I haven't been scared of spiders since I last saw you! Sadly no big'uns in the flat itself though. Just some small wispy ones which I still vacuum up after a couple of days instead of using my hands and kitchen roll - partly because they're on the ceiling and it's difficult to reach. I would still rather get them first time!
Seen a few outside me door again, these were the biggish ones. I don't think they seem as big anymore to be honest. There was one a few days ago in the crack next to the frame near the keyhole so I just waved the keys and whacked the wall with my hand and it moved further into the crack and out of sight. Then saw it again, further out, today and did stomp on it sadly but wasn't nervous or bothered about maybe some of it being on my shoe.
So, all in all you have helped me a great deal. I do feel more confident about them being around and more relaxed when I see one and I owe you a great deal.
Thank you so much for all your help."
From the wife of a client I was seeing for severe stress and anxiety...
"Hi Pippa
Just wanted to drop you a line to say what a change the hypnotherapy has made to him already. He returned home with a new demeanor - really relaxed and chilled and has been an absolute dream - a changed man - back to his old self of a long time ago."
From a lady who brought her 11 year old granddaughter to see me for just 2 sessions, who was suffering stress and anxiety and becoming agrophobic ....
" My granddaughter is just a different girl now! She's more confident and happier and says that she feels like a big cloud has been lifted.
We now have a totally different , happy child who is back to normal. Thanks a million, you've been wonderful"
From a lady, who was being held back and living with depression, made worse by clutter that she just couldn't bring herself to clear...
"It might have looked like just a terrible mess. But to me, it was a weight on my shoulders. When my mother passed away, I put her things in bags and cases under the stairs and piled everything else on top.
For five years I made attempts to sort it out but every time I came near anything to do with my beloved mum I would find it too upsetting and stop. I knew my mum wouldn't want her things to cause me any pain. So, it was time to call in a professional and that's when Pippa came to my rescue. Firm but kind, her background as a professional therapist meant that she completely understood that this wasn't just clutter – it was literally emotional baggage.
I won't pretend it was easy to see my mum's personal things after all that time but I can tell you this – without Pippa's help and encouragement there would still be a mountain of clutter under my stairs and in my hallway. Four big bags of rubbish, three bags of clothes for the charity shop later and we had a neat, organised shoe rack, somewhere to store our hoover and ironing-board and a welcoming, clear space when you come home from a hard day.
The hallway looks brighter and even bigger. People asked us if we'd decorated! And what's more, though I'm by no means naturally tidy, I have managed to keep it clutter-free ever since."
